Block of LOVE: Maker’s Mart + New Stuff

Block of LOVE: Maker’s Mart + New Stuff

So wedding season is in full swing and Jonathan and I have been swamped with wedding activities the past several weekends. I have been terrible with posting my blogs every Saturday. We have been so busy and I haven't had time to post updates, but I'm still here and working on a bunch of new things for you all! :)

We are currently on our way to another wedding in Kentucky this weekend. It's a 5 hour drive, and luckily I can connect to a personal hot spot and work on super important business things. I haven't had enough time to dedicate to my Wild Souls, but I just keep delegating time here and there to stay on top of things as best as I can!

I've been working on a bunch of new stuff including signing up for a 3 month course for handmade businesses, developing coloring pages and getting ready for upcoming events.

I am super excited for my business course with Mei Pak called A Sale A Day! I am coming into week 4 and I have already learned SO much. She goes through all of the foundational stuff and on to social media and finding your voice as a brand and marketing yourself and finding your niche and speaking to your target audience and SO MUCH MORE. I'm so pumped and can't wait to absorb all of the information so I can deliver an even better customer experience along with improved messaging and long term goals as a business!

I always want to be learning and growing and this course has been a wonderful way to continue that mission.

Next topic: COLORING PAGES!

I have been brainstorming ideas for an interactive component for Starry Night Music & Arts Festival this year because the festival lends itself well to creating/collaborating. I was racking my brain for something I could do. One of my long term ideas is to create a coloring book, and something that gets me closer to that goal is developing the pages and printing them separately! I have gotten such great feedback from everyone I've talked to about this idea, so it's officially in the works. I love coloring and it will be a great piece for kids and adults alike for them to become more connected with my Wild Souls. They're so cute and I can't wait to get hard copies made! They will be available at my upcoming events which leads me to my next point.

Block of LOVE: Maker's Mart will be Saturday, September 7th in Winona Lake, Indiana. I was invited by MudLOVE to their annual community event to raise funds for their charity partner, Water for Good. I can't wait to meet the other makers and see the beautiful handmade items that are available.

Please comment below who you are most excited to see as a coloring page! :)
